What we make

Elastobras produces elastomer parts to customer drawing, in high-mix, medium-volume series. The plant runs 16 rubber and silicone injection machines, 3 extrusion lines and 3 compression presses, with 50 people.

We do not sell a catalogue range. Every part starts from a drawing, a sample or a problem.

Hardness from 25 to 90 Shore A. Series run from 30-piece development batches on the compression presses to continuous high-volume production on the extrusion lines.

Customers are mainly in Brazil and across Latin America. Elastobras has also shipped to customers in North America and Europe.

Nothing here is a catalogue product. Every part is developed for a customer, with a dedicated tool and a compound formulated for the application.

Compounding is done in-house

Elastobras mixes its own compounds. Formulations are developed and adjusted internally against the application requirement, not selected from a supplier catalogue.

In practice this means three things. We can modify a compound when a part fails in service, instead of waiting on a raw material supplier's reformulation cycle. We control batch-to-batch consistency ourselves. And we can run a high part mix without being limited by minimum order quantities on ready-made compound.

Working with international partners

Elastobras is running a modernisation programme covering process stability, automation and inspection. In 2026 the company is taking part in the IHK Exportakademie Partnering in Business with Germany programme, including three weeks in Stuttgart in October.

We are interested in technology partnerships, technical exchange with European elastomer manufacturers, and commercial cooperation for complementary products in the Brazilian and Latin American market.
